The Haute Couture collections at Paris Fashion Week came to a close last week.
Sheer is here to stay and super bold clean lines defining the power woman at her best were ever present throughout. Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexandre Vauthier and Christian Dior all keen pursuers of this trend.
Adding touches of femininity there was attention to detail from designers such as Giambattista Valli and Maison Martin Margiela, with their fairytale influences, bright florals, pretty patchworks, yet more sheer layers and artistic interpretations through Van Gogh’s ‘Irises’.
Fur stoles and feathers acted as clever layering at Chanel and Armani Prive, with a multitude of textures all mixed together with heavy embellishment conveying both opulence and desirability.
